Taken from our PSLE mock exam
Every question here comes from a mock exam sat under real exam conditions. Find out more on how our mock exam works!
How real exam conditions build real results
Most students know the concept. Marks are lost to missing working, careless slips on easy questions and multi-step Section B problems, and a timed mock shows exactly where
Inside our PSLE Math mock exam
Our July 2026 mock followed the official format, with Paper 1 without a calculator and Paper 2 with one. Marked scripts were walked through in a workshop within a week.
Why students stumble
The math is familiar. But some questions seem different.
Information appear to be in pieces
Our Q1 and Q4 give a total, a difference and a fixed number across several sentences. This gets students confused.
Percentages sit on top of each other
Q3 stacks three discounts and GST. Children need to decide what each percentage is of before they calculate anything.
Visualising Diagrams
Children who cannot picture the new shape find it hard to know which sides to add up.
How we teach it
With the oodles math method, children read a word problem one sentence at a time and build a model as they go. Each question type is then matched to one of our proprietary strategies, so a child who is stuck has another approach ready to try.

About the PSLE Math mock paper
Is the PSLE Math mock paper free?
Yes. Fill in the form and you can download the paper straight away. The answers are on the last page.
Which level is it for?
It is written for students preparing for PSLE Math, so Primary 5 and Primary 6 will get the most from it.
How should my child attempt it?
Choose a quiet time and ask your child to show every step of working. In Math, the working earns marks even when the final answer is wrong, so it is worth marking both.
What should we do after marking it?
Note which questions went wrong and why. Then book a free trial class and our coaches can go through them with your child.
