Terms of Use

Learning Roles

1. All lessons at Oodles Math will commence and end as scheduled. 
2. Punctuality for each lesson is to be adhered to.
3. Parents are requested to update us of their child’s school examination performance by submitting his/her school continuous/semester assessment papers after each academic term. This may be done via email or photocopied for the centre’s retention.
4. Your child is expected to complete the homework assigned on time as this will aid in the performance of the child and ensure he/she paces along with the class.
5. Students are encouraged to participate in all learning activities conducted in class.

Fees 

6. All fees are payable by PayNow and e-AXS. 
7. Payment by PayNow (QR code shown on invoice) must be completed with student’s name indicated under remarks.
8. The following fees are to be paid upon registration.
   1. Course Fee: Pro-rated for the respective level based on the remaining lessons left in the Term upon sign up.
   2. Registration & Admin Fee: $60 (non-refundable)
   3. Material Fee: $40 per term (non-refundable) 
   4. Deposit: $200 (Subject to #22 for refund under Withdrawal herein).
9. Course fees will be collected on a termly basis, as per lesson schedule provided by the Centre. For avoidance of doubt, the course fee payable shall include any mandatory workshops, which will be advised upon registration or as advised by the centre. 
10. Payment must be made in advance before the start of the 1st lesson of the new Term. Upon failure of payment on due date, Oodles Math shall reserve the right to release the seat/time slot to another student without serving any notice period.
11. Course Fee, Material Fee, MathQuest Fee, Registration & Admin Fee paid are non-refundable and non- transferable. 
12.  Fees paid are non-refundable for lesson/s missed by the student. If the student is absent, he/she will receive the material for the missed lesson from his/her teacher in the following lesson.  
    

Miscellaneous 

13. The coaches at Oodles Math are bound by their service contract which prohibits the provision of their service to students on a private arrangement.  You are therefore not allowed to approach the coaches for private tuition. If found doing so, the tuition service shall be terminated immediately without any refund to the deposit and tuition fees. 
14. The printed materials are copyrights of OnSponge Pte Ltd with other additional proprietary materials supplied by Oodles Math. No further reproduction and distribution of material is permitted without the written permission of the respective copyright owners. You are also advised against making the materials available for review by any 3rd-party for the purpose of copyright protection.
15. While Oodles Math will exercise due diligence and care, Oodles Math cannot be held liable for any accidents sustained in the Centre’s premises before the commencement, during and/or after the end of lessons.
16. Apart from gazette public holidays, lessons will carry on as per schedules provided by the centre including school holidays unless rescheduled by the centre. 
17. Your child is strongly advised to attend all lessons so as to ensure minimal disruption in their learning experience. Our replacement lesson policy allows up to 2 replacement lessons per term. This ensures consistency in your child’s learning while keeping scheduling manageable across classes.
18. You agree and consent to the terms of Oodles Math’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.oodlesmath.com/personal-data-protection. Oodles Math may use the student’s photographs or results for publication and promotional purposes. Please write to us if you do not wish to have your child’s picture used.
19. Oodles Math reserves the right to discontinue any student from the tuition programme if he or she does not meet the stated terms & conditions herein.
20. Oodles Math reserves the right to change the coaches and class schedule at their own discretion. Written notice will be provided via email or hardcopy format.
21. Oodles Math reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time. Written notice will be provided via email or hardcopy format.

Withdrawal  

22. The deposit of $200 collected at the point of registration is refundable only upon:
    (a) payment of any outstanding course fees; and
    (b) completion of the full Term (as defined in clause 8); and
    (c) at least 4 lessons’ written notice prior to the end of the Term.
23. The withdrawal form has to be obtained from the centre, submitted to and processed by us. The date of notification will take effect from the date of submission. All lessons are to be paid and attended during the month of notice served.
