About I Can Read
BUILDING CONFIDENT READERS, ONE CHILD AT A TIME
I Can Read is a Singapore-based English literacy programme for children aged 2.5 to 12. It’s built around a structured reading system developed from years of research into how children actually learn to read, and how to help the ones who find it hardest.
Classes stay small, so teachers can catch a child’s specific reading gaps early, whether that’s phonics, blending, comprehension, or confidence in reading aloud. Parents get clear, regular progress updates each term, so reading development is never a guessing game.
For many families, I Can Read is the first serious academic decision they make for their child, well before Primary 1. It’s often the starting point for a child’s whole learning journey, which is exactly why it sits at the centre of this group.
What I Can Read covers:
- Phonics and phonemic awareness for early learners
- Reading fluency and comprehension for primary-aged children

About Oodles Math
MATH THAT MAKES SENSE, NOT JUST MATH THAT’S MEMORISED
Oodles Math is a Singapore math tuition centre for students from K2 through Secondary 4, covering the full journey from early number sense to O-Level exam readiness.
Instead of drilling formulas and shortcuts, Oodles Math builds real understanding through the Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract approach, the same foundation used in Singapore Math internationally. Word problems, often the hardest part of any math paper, are tackled through ACEit, our own method for reading a problem sentence by sentence and turning it into a solvable model, rather than a wall of text a child gives up on halfway through.
For the toughest exam questions, students learn a structured set of proprietary strategies, matched to common PSLE and secondary problem types, so a child facing a hard question has more than one way in. Oodles Math is also the Sole Certified Math Tuition Partner of onSponge, since 2010.

Foundation years. Children build number sense through real objects and hands-on play, so numbers mean something before they’re ever written as an equation.

The primary core. Students learn ACEit for word problems and a full toolkit of proprietary strategies for the question types that decide a PSLE grade.
PaceUP (S1 to S4)
The bridge into secondary. Your teen learns multiple techniques for algebra, geometry and beyond, practises under real exam conditions, and builds the reasoning skills O-Level math demands.
About Yue Xue Le (越学乐)
MAKING CHINESE A LANGUAGE YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY WANTS TO USE
Yue Xue Le is the Chinese language programme under the same group as I Can Read, built for students from Nursery through Primary 6. It follows the MOE syllabus closely, but the classroom experience looks nothing like traditional rote drilling.
Lessons lean on speech, drama, and interactive activities. Even routine practice like spelling and dictation is built around games and role-play, so children build vocabulary and character recognition without the usual grind. For older students, comprehension and composition lessons focus on helping them express themselves with confidence in Chinese, not just pass a test in it.
The goal is simple: children who see Chinese as a language they can actually use in conversation, not just a subject they’re tested on once a term.
What Yue Xue Le covers:
- Chinese vocabulary and conversation skills from preschool age
- MOE-aligned Chinese curriculum through Primary 6
- Composition, comprehension and oral skills for older primary students
- Small group classes with an activity-based teaching style
