The P6 Final Push: PSLE Math Booster Workshop
2026 is the first PSLE year under the fully updated MOE Math syllabus. Some topics have shifted, some have been removed, and the emphasis on multi-step problem sums in Paper 2 is heavier than ever.
This 6-week online workshop is our final-push programme for the 2026 PSLE cohort. Every Thursday or Friday evening, your child joins a live Zoom class on one of the six most heavily tested PSLE Math topics. No commute. Just 90 focused minutes with a senior Oodles Math coach, working through the exact question types for PSLE.
MOE-aligned, PSLE-focused
Every session maps directly to the 2026 MOE syllabus and the question types your child will actually see on the paper. Nothing off-track, nothing padded.
The six topics that decide the grade
Whole Numbers, Fractions, Ratio, Percentage, Area & Perimeter, and Volume together account for the majority of the PSLE paper. Master these, and your child has covered the ground that moves the grade.
Live on Zoom — small enough to actually ask
This isn’t a recorded video. Your child is in a live class with a senior coach, can ask questions, and gets their working checked in real time.
Our proprietary strategies, applied to real PSLE questions
Coaches use the Oodles Math ACEit reading method and our 14 Proprietary Strategies — the same toolkit our regular P6 students use — so your child leaves every session with a clear approach to each question type, not just an answer.
TOPICS COVERED
What we'll cover across the six weeks
One topic per week. Each session goes from the fundamentals through to the trickiest PSLE-style problem sums, with our proprietary strategies applied throughout.
Week 1 — Whole Numbers
The backbone of the paper. Number patterns, order of operations, and the multi-step problem sums that quietly cost marks when the reading gets rushed. Your child learns to slow down at the right moments and speed up at the right ones.
Week 2 — Fractions
One of the most heavily tested topics — and one of the biggest sources of careless mistakes. We cover fraction of a fraction, fraction of remainder, and the classic “before and after” problem sums that trip up even strong students.
Week 3 — Ratio
Ratio problem sums are where a lot of the harder marks live. Total unchanged, one quantity unchanged, everything changes, repeated identity — your child learns to spot the type and reach for the right strategy.
Week 4 — Percentage
GST, discount, service charge, interest — plus the “percentage of remainder” and “base of percentage” questions that decide the higher marks. We work through the exact question shapes the PSLE uses.
Week 5 — Area and Perimeter
Composite figures, overlapping shapes, and the “find the unshaded area” questions that need clear visual reasoning. Your child learns a repeatable way to break a complex figure down.
Week 6 — Volume
Cubes, cuboids, water level changes, and the multi-container questions the PSLE has been leaning into more heavily. This is where a lot of the “spatial visualisation” questions are.
Two evenings to choose from — Thursday or Friday
Pick the evening that fits your child’s week. Both sessions run for 1.5 hours and cover the same content — choose whichever slot works better.

Who your child will be learning from
Coach Augustine — 15+ years at Oodles Math
Coach Augustine has been teaching and tutoring since 2008, and has been part of the Oodles Math team since June 2010 — more than 15 years shaping how P6 students approach the PSLE. He holds a Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and brings that same structured, step-by-step thinking to every lesson.
Coach Cheryl — Senior P6 Math Coach
Cheryl brings over 20 years of teaching experience and an Oodles Math–trained eye across all three programmes — PopsicleMath, +thinkingMath and PaceUP. Teaching K2 through Sec 2, she sees both where students start and where they’re heading, which makes her especially good at getting P6 students exam-ready. She holds a Master’s in Business & IT.
A live Zoom classroom, run the Oodles Math way
1. Log in from home
No commute, no travel time. Your child joins the Zoom class from wherever they study best.
2. Live teaching, live checking
Each 90-minute session follows our classroom lesson structure — the coach teaches a concept, then your child works a parallel question while the coach checks understanding in real time.
3. Ask, work, apply
Questions are welcomed. Your child leaves each session with a clear approach to that week’s topic and knows exactly how to tackle it in the paper.
You’ll need: a laptop, tablet or desktop with a working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, pen, paper, and a quiet spot to work.
